Greetings football fans
I have updated the NRL ladder and the tipping comp after round 23. Plenty of high scores out there, mainly because most of you were smart enough to ignore my suggestions. Ah Thinker...you were going so well...for a while.
Top score for the round was 7 from 8 - congrats to YnotEELS and Dragons-Fanboy. Outstanding work from you both. As always, if you notice any issues with the scoring just let me know. I may have given myself brain damage banging my head against the wall every time the Chooks scored a try on Saturday.
I'll have my previews and selections for round 24 published on Wednesday. Some really interesting match-ups coming up.

Sorry for so much abbreviated swearing, Boss.
The "NRL" have been apathetic about this problem for way too long and so it's now grown into this ridiculous situation where grown men are being coached and given directions on field as though they are an under 10s team.
The players are highly paid professionals and they have a captain, vice-captain, often a co-captain and experienced team-mates, some with 100-300 NRL matches under their belt, who can give younger players All the direction they might need.
This current "spate" of incidents is the perfect excuse for V'Landys. Abdo & co to make some major rule changes that are long overdue and they should strike "while the iron is hot" rather than wait 'till the off-season when the outrage has diminished .
Let's keep these interlopers 3 metres back from the sideline and put them in polkadot shirts so the clowns can be easily distinguished from real match officials.

And if they do somehow get in the offensive line and knock the ball on let's at least give the ref the power to give possession to the Correct team !
