It's rivalry round in the NRL this weekend and the entire eastern seaboard is a seething pit of anger and hatred. Grrrrr!

Another State of Origin series is done and dusted and the serious run into the NRL finals begins. It's quite a long straight, but we already have a few teams that have reached the 'now or never' stage of their season campaigns.

So here we are! A game three decider in what has been one of the most enthralling State of Origin series in quite some time. This is the sort of finale where champions can prove themselves and new legends are made.

I'm always wary of going the early crow, and this is a very early crow. I've pencilled in the 2012 grand finalists, and one of them couldn't score a point last week.

It's the morning after the Blues have won game two of the 2012 State of Origin series. That makes this day one of the three weeks each year that the good people of New South Wales get to feel good about themselves. Enjoy it while it lasts my roach-like friends.

I don't feel entirely comfortable saying it, but here is why I think New South Wales will whinge the second game of the 2012 series. Oops! I mean 'win'. Actually no, I was right the first time.
