Greetings football fans. For those of you that disappeared for the off-season...welcome back.
Confirmed Tipsters for 2023
Those of you that participated throughout season 2022 are welcome to return. You don't have to let me know you wish to play again this year, but if you want to say hello, ask a question or say anything else feel free to say so in the comments section. If your tipster name appears in the table to the right (2022 tipping competition final results) then you are already registered for season 2023.

Newcomers
Note: entries to the 2023 season tipping competition are now closed. This allows my little helper to get all the hamsters lined up in the exercise wheels before the NRL season starts next Thursday. I will create a list of our new tipsters for this season. I note that quite a lot of people have created accounts on the site but haven't asked to be added to the tipping comp. Some of those people could be autobots working in an underground lair for the Putin regime, but some of you could be genuine humans who thought you had done enough to be registered as a tipster. That's okay, I was a bit vague on the details. If you are one of those people (with a registered account prior to the 24th February), please add a comment on this page and I'll try and squeeze you in. There is a limit on how many hamsters I can fit in the machine though (and I don't want the RSPCA hassling me).
For those of you that have missed the opportunity to register for this season, I apologise in advance.
Questions
My loyal and obedient Little Helper has put together a page which is a handy guide to how most of this works (including creating an account, how to tip each round once you've been registered, life hacks and some dinner suggestions for busy working parents in a hurry. You can check it all out here.
Otherwise, if anyone has any questions about the competition or anything else, feel free to ask in the comments section below.
The season kicks off on Thursday 2nd March with the Parramatta Eels taking on the Melbourne Storm.
Prizes
There will be prizes for our top three tipsters and, if there's anything left in my Merchandise Mystery Box, a few random prizes throughout the season, but I'll provide more details on the prizes in the weeks ahead.
The top three also get their name etched on the Honour Board and the recognition you deserve. Last season The Voyeur held off Tigerholic by a solitary point. Tipping superstar Footy Chick has finished in the top three for five years in a row. I expect they will all be back to have another crack in 2023.

I’ll still be on here every week GF, but not as “full on” with regards to the lengthy write-ups I normally do.
As I mentioned, I’m just gonna “scale it down” a bit. Won’t be moving out bush just yet as there’s loads I’ll have to get organised first. Sell my place, research suitable properties in the sticks, buy that place, hand my notice in, organise my super, buy a complete new set of tools for building and gardening, sell most of my stuff that I don’t need or want, set up internet access, advise change of address with government departments, banks, family and friends blah, blah, blah. It’s gonna be fun 😂.
I know it’s early and I was gonna save this for next week but thought you might like a little bit of country. Sort of fits in well with where I’m heading. Be warned, this is an emotional one. Well, it made me cry so yeah…

I just bumped into Reece Walsh, Kobe Hetherington and Herbie Farnworth at the shops. Thought I had the scoop on Farnworth going to the Dolphins next year.
