Round twenty three selections

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Canterbury Bulldogs – Thursday night – ANZ Stadium

It's never been more important for your team to have a good fullback, and I mean a bloody good fullback. Every player wearing the number one jersey in the NRL this weekend has been racking up tries this season...but one. Will Hopoate, bless him, is in grave danger of facing the nudie run this season. To go along with his 0 tries he has made just one line break this year. It's not a good look, particularly when you consider that the Rabbitohs haven't had a great season either, but their fullback on Thursday night has 17 tries and 13 line breaks this season. Hopoate clearly isn't the only reason the Bulldogs are struggling this year, but he's on the list of reasons. That Bulldogs forward pack is first class, and if your backs can't create tries on the back of that pack something is clearly wrong. This is the fourth successive Thursday night game for the Bulldogs and they have been terrible and terribly boring every single time. Channel Nine must be shaking their heads in dismay.

Verdict – Rabbitohs by 8

Result – Rabbitohs by 14

Parramatta Eels vs Newcastle Knights – Friday night – ANZ Stadium

It's not often a team running last would have smiles on their faces, but the Knights dressing shed would be a slightly happier place at the minute. Back-to-back wins for the first time since forever and a bunch of young locals getting better each and every week. There's half a dozen teams in the NRL that could learn a thing or two from the team running last. While they can't win on Friday night, they will give a good account of themselves and that makes this game a heck of a lot more watchable than the Thursday night grind. The Eels are on a roll and have a sweet run into the finals. Top four looks likely now but I think they should try to aim one spot higher. Top four means your first final will probably be against the Storm in Melbourne. I'm sure they would rather play a Sydney team in Sydney.

Verdict – Eels by 14

Result – Eels by 19

Brisbane Broncos vs Cronulla Sharks – Friday night – Suncorp Stadium

Both sides will have plenty to play for in this – assuming the Eels beat the Knights, the team that loses this game slips out of the top four. Right now the Sharks are paying $3.00 to win this game and here are three reasons why they can pull off an upset:

  1. They've played nine games away from home this season and they've won eight of them (their only away loss was that underwater game on the Gold Coast). Those away victories include wins over three genuine contenders this season – Storm, Roosters and Eels.
  2. The Sharks were pretty ordinary last start and they know it. They have a habit of bouncing back from a poor performance.
  3. Paul Gallen is king of the nub-nubs but he's playing his 300th game on Friday night – I expect his team will lift.

The Broncos were great to watch against the Titans, but you have to question the willingness of their opponent in that game. The Sharks will be willing, and I think they are willing and able to pull off an upset. Note the return of Maloney – just on goal-kicking alone he helps the Sharks in what I assume will be a tight contest.

Verdict – Sharks by 2

Result – Sharks by 22

St George Illawarra Dragons vs Gold Coast Titans – Saturday afternoon – UOW Jubilee Oval

Dragons coach Mary McGregor hasn't had much of a fortnight – a loss to the Knights, a $10000 fine, an extraordinary loss to the Rabbitohs and his team have fallen out of the top eight. I've a feeling they'll win here, but mainly because I feel like the Titans have given up. The Titans did beat the Dragons in round 17, but the Titans were well and truly trying then. I could easily have this wrong, but I'm with the Red V in front of their faithful army.

Verdict – Dragons by 8

Result – Dragons by 26

Melbourne Storm vs Sydney Roosters – Saturday night – AAMI Park

First plays second in the game of the round, but I do feel like there's quite the gap between first and second this season. Two rounds back I raised my doubts about the Roosters credentials and the Chooks got up and won after looking wobbly early on (Thinker shakes fist). Then I decided I must have been wrong about them, tipped them last weekend and they were pretty darn ordinary (Thinker shakes fist again). Perhaps I was right to doubt, but I do note that they are a vastly improved seventeen with Cordnor and Friend back on the paddock. That's not enough for this doubting Thomas though – Cameron 'The Accountant' Smith will note the ladder positions going into this game, he'll crunch the numbers and he'll work out that winning this game all but seals the minor premiership for the purple machine. Smith likes trophies.

Verdict – Storm by 7

Result – Storm by 3

Penrith Panthers vs North Queensland Cowboys – Saturday night – Pepper Stadium

Some games are crunchier than others, and this is a real crunch game for the Cowboys. A loss here and I have them slipping to eighth on the ladder, and the teams in 9th and 10th will be just two points behind. The Cowboys haven't had to spend too much time in Sydney this season (for the sake of an argument I'm calling Penrith as Sydney...close enough surely). This will be just their fourth game in the harbour city and their three previous visits have resulted in two losses (to the Sharks and Roosters) and one win (over the Bulldogs). This is the toughest opponent the Panthers have faced in a while but they have won five in a row. They lost to the Cowboys by just two points in Townsville, and I'll bank on home ground advantage getting them over the line on this occasion.

Verdict – Panthers by 4

Result – Panthers by 8

New Zealand Warriors vs Canberra Raiders – Sunday afternoon – Mt Smart Stadium

Tallking about the Warriors just makes me cranky so I won't be saying much, but I will say this – Ryan Hoffman is back this week and maybe, just maybe, he can talk his troops into putting in half an effort on Sunday. That's the only glimmer of light I can see for the home side here. Bah!.

Verdict – Raiders by 14

Result – Raiders by 20

Wests Tigers vs Manly Sea Eagles – Sunday afternoon – Leichhardt Oval

Manly are in seventh place on the ladder and the teams in 6th and 8th are playing each other on Saturday night. If the Cowboys lose the Sea Eagles can move into 6th place with a win. If the Panthers lose the Sea Eagles can put a four point gap on their nearest rival. Either way a win shores up their finals prospects. Their performance against the Roosters indicated that they've found their mojo. Back the total points overs if you're into that sort of thing – this game looks like one of those 44-26 kinda scorelines (weather permitting).

Verdict – Sea Eagles by 16

Result – Tigers by 4

Johnny awesome In response to your last comment posted no treatment hasn't begun yet i'm still waiting to be told when & in regards to panthers & tigers panthers should be playing a finals footy level by now & they aren't they have left it too late & tigers were never going to be in finals to play finals footy so it doesn't really matter for them it's more just who is going to take the wooden spoon knights or tigers , any team that is going to be playing finals footy by now has already begun to step it up a notch or two this time of the season so panthers have left it too late ...

Johnny Awesome's picture

Hello all,
Yep it will be interesting to see if Newcastle can avoid the wooden spoon. Personally,I reckon they have it, Wests Tigers look better on paper and are more dangerous. So that's the wooden spoon settled hey.....maybe ha.
Cheers from Mr Awesome

a's picture

About the battle for Woodson spoon here's the Knights and Tigers last 4 games

Knights
Eels A
Storm H
Raiders A
Sharks A

Tigers
Manly H
Roosters A
Cowboys H
Warriors H

Judging the the run home I think Knights will win the Wooden Spoon what do you think

christine's picture

"a" Yeah your probably right but you have to give knights credit they turn up each week & try so hard but next year they will be there they have bought well they will be a different team , will they be premiership material well it's too soon to say it all depends on weather or not they gel as a team or not but they will certainly be there to give other teams a hard time ...

Johnny Awesome's picture

Hi all,
Yes Mr 'a' and Christine WedtsTigers have got the Warriors in the mix so they should avoid the spoon. I'm starting to rate Nathan Brown a bit now. It's not all about players, it's getting the right players. Seems he is developing a community culture in the club much like Ricky Stuart is doing. Thanks for the spreadsheet Mr 'a' nice work. Cheers from Mr Awesome.

Steel Panther's picture

Knights have a very tough run home which includes three of their last four games away while the Tigers have three of their last four at home. The bonus for the Tigers is they do play the Warriors. The Knights may not have won many games this season but they have turned up to play every week. I wish I could say that about my team.

a's picture

Yes Steel it's sad once Origin is over Warriors don't even try to play football

Baggy_Gee's picture

Is that another body on the Nathan Brown wagon. He has done well with a young team.

christine's picture

Steel panther The warriors seem to only win a couple of games each season & then they give up they don't care & I can't say it has anything to do with origin really which I can't understand because they say warriors have the best completion rate out of all the teams in the nrl so what is going wrong for them given the spine they've got they should be winning more games so what is the answer steel panther do you have any reason as to why they are not doing better ?

Baggy_Gee's picture

GREAT NEWS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If we beat the Knights on Friday night (knight) (jk lol). The BOYS will be top 4 by the end of the round. This piece of maths was brought to you today by the (possible) number 32 and the last 8 years, also one very happy Eels supporter.

Steel Panther's picture

Hi Christine...I wish I had the answer but it remains a mystery as to why the Warriors are so bad. Every season is ground hog day and like you and everyone else says, with a spine like they have they should be doing way better. I see Paul Kent has been climbing into them on NRL 360. He saw the problem as not enough Australians in the team and I tend to agree but who would want to go there!!! They are a major disappointment with all their fans here in NZ too.

Even if they put in a positive performance each week like Newcastle do and end up losing you at least respect that. But when it seems like some guys aren't even trying it's a disgrace and a real insult to their supporters.

a's picture

Here are my tips

Rabbitohs by 4 I think the Rabbitohs are going to win back to back here

Eels by 14 The Eels should continue their form against Knights

Broncos by 6 I think the Broncos will beat the Sharks this week

Dragons by 4 I think the Dragons will continue Titans misery here

Storm by 8 I think the Storm will beat the Roosters here

Cowboys by 1 I think the Cowboys can upset the Panthers here

Raiders by 10 once Warriors season is over they dont even try

Manly by 2 Yes I think Manly can win

Sa-wat-dee krup,

Big Pete – can you see the future? If not, do you have a time machine? Last week you stated that “there'll be feathers flyin’ at Brooky this week” and you were spot on. Hey bro’, can you give me this week’s winning Lotto numbers? Need to retire in Thailand as soon as I can. Cheers.

Still cold as ice over here in Perth and been raining non-stop all last night, following morning and most of today. Thankfully it’s eased off for now but hey, Mother Earth needs it, so it’s all good.

Thank god the Roosters and Manly game last week was the “early” one. That meant GEM didn’t show it on telly because of the 5.30 start over here. Just as well too. A bloke would’ve been curled up on the floor in a fetal position weeping uncontrollably. Dude, what the hell happened there? Playing like that ain’t gonna win no grand final I can tell ya. This week we have to front the Storm. Geez, can my week get any worse?

OK enough of that, let’s get into it…

Rabbitohs vs Bulldogs
Nothing at stake here except pride and Des’ future. Based on the efforts of both the Rabbitohs and the Bulldogs last week, Newbie has to plonk on the Fluffy Ones.

Eels vs Knights
Yeah, the Eels are flying and they should account for the Knights but favourites over here at $1.15? While they did beat the Warriors last week and the Eels are tougher opposition, I reckon the Knights deserve a bit more respect in this one. The Eels will still win though.

Broncos vs Sharks
The Broncos absolutely smashed the poor ol’ Titans last week. I know the Sharks were pretty average last week but they will be stiffer opposition for the Ponies, especially given their away form this year and the fact that Maloney’s back. Brisbane have won 11 of their past 12 games as home favourite while the Sharks have won seven of eight games as away underdogs. This could potentially go either way. Ummm …. Ponies for me.

Dragons vs Titans
The Dragons seem to have lost their form and really really need to win this one. The Titans were smacked silly last week and should respond. Not sure if it will be enough to win though. I’ll stick with the Big Red V.

Storm vs Roosters
Thanks to my BBB’s poor effort last week, the Storm have shot away to a four point lead on the ladder and should end up as Minor Premiers for 2017. I watched ‘em against the Cowboys and even though it took some time, they accounted for their opposition in a somewhat easy fashion. The cream just rose to the top so to speak. By all reports my BBB started well but then fell to pieces in the second half. I didn’t get to see any of the game so can’t say for sure if they did or whether it was the gutsy never-say-die attitude from Manly. Regardless, I just can’t see the Roosters winning this, even with bodies back in the side. As always, happy to lose the tipping point should the unthinkable happen. The Roosters have not won a single game as away underdog all year and Newbie reckons that trend will continue this week. Storm for me.

Panthers vs Cowboys
The Panthers are up in the 8 and have won five in a row. Mind you, I see they have only beaten the Cowboys once in their last 8 meetings. The Cowboys weren’t that bad last week but I read they have some injury concerns. Given their record at home, I’ll have to go the Panthers this week.

Warriors vs Raiders
Big effort from the Raiders last week. Watched the game and most impressed. The Warriors seem lost without Shaun and don’t seem to have their minds on the job. Could they be thinking about where to go on their end of season holiday instead? If the Raiders can run out onto the field they will win this. The Vikings for me.

Tigers vs Manly
Manly got their mojo back last week and smacked the living daylights out of my BBB in the second half. I reckon Fortress, Big Pete, EagleROCKS and whoever else loves Manly would be absolutely stoked after that win eh? Well done to Manly. All of a sudden the rest of the competition are taking notice again. Play like that every week from now on and they’re a chance, but can they sustain it? On last week’s efforts, Manly simply too good for the Tigers here.

OK kids, good luck with your tipping and may your team win by 40 points! Until next week people. Cheers.

P.S. Daylight savings time - why are they saving it and where do they keep it? Hmmm…

I wast reading about Des Hasler’s coaching future and that of Neil Henry.
In both cases, I believe the issues at any club always go further than one sir, one coach or one player. It always starts at the very top and yond includes many more persons.
Dan Nicholls had reported that change needed to happen at the Bulldogs before Des-aster strikes.

I tend to agree. The Bulldogs needth a spring clean, but yond clean needs to start at the board level first, then work its way down.

In the case of Neil Henry, I feel an element of calm shouldst prevail. The Titans need to review their personnel, assessth their season regarding many different factors, the major one being a horrific injury toll. Wherefore art some teams more prone to injury than others? The Titans in last two years have hadst a greater share of injury than any other team. Is there something lacking in the Titans strength conditioning? What about fitness program, training regime, coaching?

In summary, both the Bulldogs and the Titans needth to approach the issues at hand in a semblance of order. Sacking coaches without working from the top down is fraught with disaster not Des-aster.

The Spartan Warrior hast spoken

Dragons-fanboy's picture

Hello everyone, my tips for this week are:

Rabbitohs by 10- Bulldogs have been playing absoloutely horrible, same boring attack structure and some ordinary defence at times though there defence has been ok. I expect the Rabbits to be up for this one just like they were last week and outplay the Dogs here.

Eels by 12- Huge credits to the Knights. Though they are coming last, they have won back to back for the first time in ages. If they were playing the Titans, Bulldogs, Tigers or maybe even Souths, I'd probably pick the Knights to win, even a top 8 side who's confidence are down and that aren't playing good footy, I'd probably tip the Knights, but, they are playing the Eels who, have plenty to play for, are flying at the moment, playing phenomenal footy and a real tough side so unfortunately for the Knights, the Eels should win this one though it will be fairly close.

Broncos by 8- Damn, looking at Thinker's comment for this one almost made me pick the Sharks, but I've picked the Broncos and even though what Thinker mentioned were really good facts/points, I still think after last week I know it was against the Titans, but still they played exceptionally well the Broncos particularly on that second half, and they will carry this to this game and beat the Sharks here.

Dragons by 14- If we lose this one, it'll be disgraceful. We can't lose three winnable games in a row, WE CAN'T. We have too much to play for to win this one. Please don't disappoint our fans further and get the much-needed win that we need.

Storm by 2- Roosters will get some troops back and will be up for this one as it's one v two and they would love to bounce back after last week but, I just can't go against the Storm, they are too good.

Cowboys by 4- Main reason why I've picked the Cowboys is because if we win against the Titans, and we will... hopefully, than we need the Panthers to lose to the Cowboys for us to get back into the 8. Plus, I've got this feeling that the Cowboys will get the upset win here, they haven't been playing bad football although they're in bad form, Panthers haven't been great in their recent wins, even if the Cowboys have some troops out, the panthers having Moylan and Whare potentially out will help the Cowboys' causes. It'll be a close game either way I think.

Raiders by 10- You just cannot tip the Warriors. Did you see them last week? I did, they were poor and they were facing the team coming last. Raiders should win here, they have too much to play for.

and finally... Manly by 8- I was considering Tigers for an upset, not a bad consideration aye. But Manly's class will get them over the line here, they'll be too good for the Tigers here though Tigers will continue to fight although they have no chance of making the 8. They still have to get away from the Knights mind you. But manly to win.

Awesome. Good luck with everyone's teams for this week, and with everyone's tips for this week. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello from the Menindee magpie
Menindee is a small town near Broken Hill in nsw population will be 450 when berthas grand daughter has the twins and I used to follow the western suburbs magpies till they got axed which was a bigger slap in the face than a roy masters psych up pun intended
This site is popular here as I found it by fluke and it's helped my tips but I kept it a secret till I shared some of the comments to my mates you have some great characters on here a bit of banter humour and experiences but they seem to have gone quiet I know nothing changed with the silver tails stirring the pot. I'll keep my ear low to the ground and happy to have a yarn

Mary S's picture

Hi Menindee Magpie,
Welcome to the site Menindee magpie, it's great to get different views from people. I checked out your town on Wikipedia. You have a larger population than Croydon, a remote town in Nth Queensland, where I resided for a few years before moving to the north coast of Qld. Employment there was mainly centred around the Council and maintenance of roads. What do you do for a crust in your area Magpie? As you mentioned following Western Suburb Magpies and they have been disbanded, do you follow another team now?
Cheers
Mary

Thanks for the welcome Mary s
I'm a tour guide on the Darling river it's a great job if you like meeting different people. As an old fibro I support the team playing manly
Coming originally from Sydney I don't mind the rabbits or roosters but I have a theory and I think the only team that can stop the storm is the eels. The best thing for them is that there stadium is getting renovated and anz is their home ground which means they train and play there the hard part is getting in the grand final but if they get there they'll win it.
If history serves me right in 2004 the doggies won and 2005 the tigers and 2014 the bunnies are the only teams to make the grand final with anz there home ground and they all won. thebulldogs in 2014 also were runners up to Souths who also used anz
Anyway off to the river

pabdul's picture

Wow it took 23 rounds but we finally got a character and by your comments so far you know your stuff . See how you go to lighten up the place I tried but people take things personal and if you disagree with a comment or a tackle your called a hater

Now Pabdul, I have to say I really enjoy the banter that you engage in from time to time, and have had a good laugh on many occasion because of it. Life is too short to be serious all the time!!

Baggy_Gee's picture

Fun Fact. Parra could end the round in 3rd if they put a cricket score on the Knights tonight and the Storm give the Roosters a bit of a thumping. Saddened by the news that French is out, but a week off to recharge and mentally get back in the game is great. We need to be on guard that we do not let the Knights have a sniff as they are in good enough form to dent our top 4 chances this year.

The Thinker's picture

Uh Oh

Steel Panther's picture

Baggy you wont be happy tonight with your team. 13 to go and you're getting a hiding...ambushed by the Knights

A wake up call for Eels

EagleROCKS's picture

Well, well, well, the wooden spooners beat Baggy Gee's mob what an upset, I think the Fortress will be very happy , spoke to him today and he called the upset, well done to the Knights and all of us Eagles supporters are very happy indeed.

It just shows rugby league is a very funny game and today we have seen you can take nothing for granted, so three cheers for the knights, WOW WOW WOW!!!

Now the Mighty Eagles have a real chance of the top 4 position. Come on boys and come on all you eagles supporters, lets all get behind our boys .

Rockin and Rollin with the soaring EAGLES yeah baby!!!

Baggy_Gee's picture

When did the wake up call for the cowboys come a?

Damn that hurt to watch. Why can't we coach teams to have a strong mental fortitude? We should have won that one on paper and we gave it up to easy, people will talk about how hungry the Knights were, and they were, they killed us in everything that matters, score board and effort. But why weren't we as hungry as they were? We have just as much to play for this season, yes its highly unlikely that we miss the 8, but we needed that top 4 and the second chance draw if we want to get all the way. Not happy with the BOYS tonight. It was almost like watching the Warriors last weekend, pushing nothing passes, not running the holes or the lines, just thinking that turning up is enough. I said it last week, I said it a few posts ago, every game is important and we had to be sharp not to get beaten and we weren't.

Steel Panther's picture

Cronulla a shadow of last season's team tonight. Maloney having a poor game & overall poor discipline letting the Sharks down.

pabdul's picture

Good evening fortress

christine's picture

Well "a"& johnny awesome we were saying at the start of this week about which team knights or tigers being wooden spooners & I didn't say it even though I wanted to about wouldn't it be nice if knights don't finish wooden spooners because they turn up each week & try so hard but I didn't say it so I wouldn't offend tigerholic & well now I wish I had of said it . , baggy sorry for your loss I had tipped parra but knights did out play them as you said ...

Baggy_Gee's picture

So how do we think Coach of the year is progressing? Still think Nathan Brown has the goods, he is showing the game what you can achieve with a young group.

Baggy_Gee's picture

Honestly christine, who can honestly put their hand up and say the went with the Knights without the benefit of hindsight? We thought it was a slam dunk and so did the BOYS. We lost that sharp mindset we had vs the Bronco's and you can't ever do that. Thinker got the margin though..................... just the wrong team.

The Thinker's picture

Maloney giving team mates a rev up with 20 to go was a bit rich. Missed ten tackles...gave away penalties....kicked out on the full

if the Broncos were on song tonight they would have scored 60

0/3 this week so far..taking a bigger pounding this week than the Eels top 4 chances. At least when I tip against the Broncos (rarely) and they get up I'm still happy. Just need the Storm to take out the Roosters and somehow we'll be chilling in 2nd place..Up the horse!

christine's picture

Baggy I too took eels myself not knights ...

pabdul's picture

Yes baggy Nathan brown has come in from 1000/1 to 500/1 for coach of the year
How much bearing do coaches have?
At a young age they are very important but if you make it at the top level your there because you are good and you know the game. A coach will give you a game plan but that's in a perfect world he can't control your forward passes knock ons missed tackles etc. He'll say shut down Thurston I think players alreadyknow that easier said than done.
It goes down to player roster and its depth to cover injuries
An example would be if say the knights could have smith Cronk and slater for a month would they be more successful I think they would. If Nathan brown coached the storm for a month would they start losing I don't think so.

Baggy_Gee's picture

That's the thing you can't really give a Bellamy, Bennett, Barrett, Green, or even Arthur, Coach of the year because they have an established squad. Coaches are the cheerleaders during the week, mentors on game day, and ass kickers if its needed. Its their job to grow their young players to maturity and keep the old heads on track and beside a younger player to pass on those little unteachable things. That's why they cop a flogging but many modern players know they can just blame the coach and hide behind that. I still think Nathan Brown has done enough with his team to be rated as the best coach this year, even more so if they avoid the spoon even on +/-. Wouldn't do the job for all cash in the world, but would love to run a club beside a good coach.

pabdul's picture

Good call baggy but they don't pick coach of the year by the inexperience of your squad they all supposedly are within the cap it's usually decided from where you were on the ladder in 2016 opposed to now so you'd have to say Robinson Arthurs and McGregor for mind. I think brown is a good coach and I think he's odds on next year to reap the benefits

Baggy_Gee's picture

Based on that slightly pointless metric it'll probably be Brad, first finals series in 9 years probably weighs more than missed one in the last few years and went great but slid out the back of the 8 with barely a whimper. Has to be a way to measure the impact a coach has more so than just ladder position, if a warrior's coach got them to play 80 minutes of football for 24 rounds in a season shouldn't he get it for lifting his players to consistent performance. Likewise if a coach overcomes the odds on money to lift a team from a certain spoon that should be a better coaching performance than someone who hasn't missed a finals series in 10 years.

Hi all
Back from Fraser Island today. Great weather and had a great time but unfortunately the fish had gone on holiday too.
So far this week I'm none from three. First time I've tipped against my Broncs. Missed their toweling of the Titans so may have tipped differently but that's tipping when you go away.
Would Des be coach of the year? that is the first Coach to be flicked this year...bears some thought.
MM welcome. Despite what Paddy says this is not a Manly free site.
All and their comments are welcome (being nice)

a's picture

Good to have you back Mark

BigPeteBx's picture

Never fear Mark and welcome back - I was in a similar position until Drags and Storm came home. Took Dogs against Souffs - both underperforming teams this season.
Thanks for some kind support re Manly and what some still and will always think of us. Even that new Fibron from The Loop near Kaleentha. Many years ago there was once a major derailment at Matakana and now I think he might have been it.
The MM wont need a loop, if he keeps his negatives coming, because I'll have a noose for him. Where he lives, is an area closer to me, than many of you.
Been there twice and know one of The Williams' (not Carl), who used to live there. Many Manly supporters out in the West, but he can come follow Collingwood with me instead if he wishes then he might see some light.

Sorry the fish weren't biting at Fraser, but maybe they are in The Darling, if not, they soon will be.

Cheers - Big Pete

BigPeteBx's picture

Good evening Christine and hope u r going ok.
Your posts have been spot on with issues that you address to.
Knights are playing well and well be going much better next season - I reckon. Really, the way Dogs are going, they should be getting the wooden Pabdul stirrers spoon. Cant all be Des' fault, the way they are performing, but things are pointing towards some Des-astrous issues going on at Belmore.
Keep well - Big Pete
