The birds prevail, as the only feathered teams in the NRL progress to the grand final. It may not be the Roosters/Bunnies final that most of us wanted, but we do get a replay of what was easily the best game of the year thus far...and that is pretty cool.

Competition for those top eight positions didn't get any less congested following results from round 22, but it does look like one team are about to kiss their finals aspirations goodbye.

Just five rounds remain and the logjam for positions in the top eight is as logjammed as ever. Seven teams are battling it out for seventh and eigthth and maybe, just maybe, the least likely of the lot can still make it.

Bula! Bula! Bula! Perhaps it's the kava talking but I'm here to make some big calls. I'm declaring the 2013 Premiers and I'm tipping some pretty big upset this weekend as well.
