I didn't suggest as my opinion, I only suggested as food for thought.
Only countries from certain political ideologies have been tagged with the systematic stuff. Why not Western countries? Individuals from the US have sure tried to fool the world over the years.

There's been no shortage of American athletes that have tested positive, but we haven't seen any evidence of systemic cheating by sporting bodies in the US. It's possible there has been, but there's no proof.
The East German cheating program even had an official name - State Plan something something.
The Chinese clearly had a doping plan in the late 80s and early 90s. Their female swim team won 12 of 16 gold medals at the 94 world championships.
This year China has one gold medal from the pool - for Sun Yang.

No shortage of US athletes testing positive is a huge understatement.
Why has the US never had the systematic question asked. If it were true, surely it would not come as a great surprise.
Justin Gatlin and Tyson Gay cheats are still ok to compete at Rio while many an innocent Russian have been banned because apparently they are all using drugs.

But there is more cheating from the Russians and Eastern block countries and china across the board , other countries may cheat and a cheat is a cheat but the three I mentioned are cheats in many more sports much more have been caught and the women appear to look like men.

Great Britain currently 2nd on the medal tally - Australia are in 9th.
And hats off to the nation of Phelps. A tiny population and just one athlete at these games....currently in 12th place ahead of The Netherlands.

I keep hearing we test our swimmers etc too early, is this the case?
We used to be champions at Hockey, Cycling, Water Polo, Trap Shooting,
Beach Volleyball, not to mention the pool. What has happened?

With rhe semis set for this morning , wouldn't it bea disgrace if the final is Brazil v Germany and no fool Channel 7 exec wants to show it.

Add to your comment Fortress about Games Cheats, that females start to sound like men. Its the steroids mate. I did a drugs in sport course years ago, through AIS Canberra, that I recall mentioning before. Some develop facial hair that much that you'd need to lend them your Gillette razor.

Evening Mark - yes we have done better.
The emphasis is on too much building up the athlete for events instead of using psychology in a different way. They fail and are cactus juice.

It might not be the most successful Olympics we have been at, but we did get a few of our guys into the track finals which was great. Very proud of them. Proud of everyone who made it in to the team and everyone who even made the finals. Top right in the world is pretty bloody good in anyone's book.

yes big pete we were robbed in the last 2 games by those pathetic refs man they are so hopeless, no backbones just disgusting. what can we do wont be long before were holding that triophy again mate, great talent and if we can get a 5 eighth to partner cherry evans a winger few more to bolster the team we will be on iour way to the title again in the next few years............................................
