I'm saddling up again for another year of tipping and happiness. Why wouldn't I? It's pretty cool. Anyone that tipped throughout season 2019 is eligible to play again. When I say throughout, I do mean throughout - that means most (but not all) of you on the 2019 leaderboard can play again if you are keen to have another go.
NOTE: The 2020 NRL tipping competition is now closed to new entrants. Also note that those who participated last year are included again this year (if you wish).

Worst birthday i have ever had i haven't even heard frim my family only my father wgo is off to Thailand bext week he was going too go on mg birthday to Thailand but i told him i would never forgive him he did that last year on my birthday says it is not forvthevobvious reason but they do stay in the red light district all 10 of them & sure i beleive that it is not or that reason re in regards to me i just pit my tips in the comment section that is my choice that is all i want too do thevreason i pur my tips in the comments section is becausevof coach he complained so thats why that started so u will just continue doingvthst that is fine with me i am notvtaking up a space on the ladder if someonecwants to kerp tabs on my tips that is there choice but i am not in horriblebofthe tipping comp i may go in "a" a game comp but that is all i don't even have the fox this year to watch it only follow live scores but it is better than nothing ...

Thanks Pete, the plan is to get down for a game there this year, funds and flights are always the big ones from here. But looking forward to watching the footy, the young'uns are going gang busters and i'm sure I can get their input this year as well.

Nice to see you back here mate. Your friend Greg at Avondale Meats does a real chicken breast schnitzel for only $2 bucks a piece. They are big and delicious and I love them. I asked how he could do it for that price and he said there's a bit left in it for him. I've noticed a real pick up in traffic through his shop and I wish him well.
Hope those peepers are treating you well and all is good with your family.
From previous comments we could have some fun this year with Butcher and Rocket setting the pace. I won't promise to be neutral but will try and be nice. Good luck with your tipping.

There you go Baggy Gee is already talking about "common sense". I don't think this exists in NSW, at least from what I've seen in the past years. Yes they may hold the SOO shield for now but look at the history.
Certain pundits are already writing the Broncs off but all I can say is BRING IT ON and we'll see who is right.

Sorry I missed your birthday Christine but I’ve been in “holiday mode” since last Friday afternoon. Only have a week off but so far so good. I’ve been sleeping in until 7am every morning and lovin’ it. I was gonna wish you a good one but read your posts where you mentioned it wasn’t so good 😥. There’s one thing I can do however and that’s to at least wish you have many more (good birthdays that is). 🥂
Some of those prices for the 2020 premiership have me scratching my head as well Mr Ashford. I’m no expert either but $7.00 the Raiders? Really? I would’ve thought they’d be favourites just so slightly. And the Rabbitohs @ $11.00? Hmmm.
As much as I’d love it, I don’t think the Mighty Roosters can get it. Would have to completely rewrite the history books if they did that. Storm possibly, but losing some personnel has me doubting. Raiders look a good chance and will want redemption. Manly a definite chance no doubt. As too are the Rabbitohs but slightly less so. Early days I know but can’t really see anyone outside these clubs being able to get it. Time will sort out the wheat from the chaff but it’s gonna take 20-odd weeks to do so. Anyone’s guess at the moment. Moving on…

Hi everyone (and goodbye to the off season page)
So here we all are, on the cusp of NRL's 2020 season!! Really feels like a 'well, here go again' moment. This will be my 3rd year on The Thinker Dot Org and my second tipping and I am thrilled to be a part of this family.
This week on The Thinkers Jukebox we arrive at 1988. This is the most important year for me musically as it is in this year I really begin forging my own identity. Which made me even less popular at school than I already was? I have a feeling I will be staying in '88 for some time to share all the songs that sparked the flames for my now love of music.
The one that started it all? It's this one. I was mesmerized by the video, hypnotized by the guitar and instantly at home in this genre. Why? Who knows? But this spoke to me in ways nothing ever had before and I. Was. Hooked!

Yeah, you were right bro’ 😁. Not a fan in any way, shape or form. Not sure if I should say this but they’re one of about 5 or 6 bands/artists that I permanently “mute” from the online radio station I listen to every morning at work before the troops arrive. Not getting paid for this 😁 but if you’re interested, take a gander at accuradio(dot)com. There’s nearly 60 music genres to choose from (they have absolutely everything) and if you open an account (easy and no adverts) you can curate your own favourites and so on. Unlike spotify, it doesn’t cost you a cent. Highly recommended 👍. Anyways, just as long as you were diggin’ their music is all that matters. Better to listen to music than not my brother. Oh, before I finish on this, please tell me you didn’t have hair like they had. Please, for the love of god tell me you didn’t 😱.
Now as far as my post from Michael goes (don’t mind peeps knowing), don’t feel bad mate. That song is what I refer to as a “creeper”. And before you ask, no, it’s not because he is sometimes considered a bit “creepy” 🤔. No, what I mean is that it’s the type of song that’s sorta “meh” on first listen but after a few more (spaced out) listens, it starts to “creep” into your soul and starts to grow on you. Well, that’s what happened with me anyways.

Well, getting the dreaded COVID-19 it would certainly throw a spanner in the works eh? Empty stadiums, postponed matches. It’s all too scary to contemplate mon frère. Nah, actually, what would happen? Quarantine one player? Quarantine the whole squad if they tested positive? Have the second graders play in lieu of the first graders? This is starting to do my head in 🤪. Fingers crossed peeps. One good thing might come out of this though. The players might actually stop going out to nightclubs for fear of contracting said virus and in turn stop getting into trouble.

I know you’ve seen this but what about Liverpool getting done 3-0 by Watford eh? All Watford’s goals coming in the second half too. Just shows no-one is unbeatable and shows that Watford are determined to get out of that relegation zone more than the 3 clubs below them. I love EPL except when my beloved Gooners have to play the Hammers on Saturday and then front up 4 days later to play Man City. Then we front up 3 days after Man City and play Brighton. Tough week indeed.

Evening lads
While I don't mind MJ at all Newbie, I gotta admit I'm totally in Markus's camp this week. I loved a lot of those hair metal bands of the 80s. I was lucky enough to see Poison back in 2008 at a festival in Wellington of all places over two nights. Night one was Lordi, Alice Cooper & KISS, while night two was Poison, Whitesnake & Ozzy Osbourne. Heaven.....

Those two nights do sound like heaven!! What a line up!! In the US, Def Leppard and Motley Crue are headline a string of concerts with Poison and Joan Jet on their 'The Stadium Tour'. How I would love to see that!!
