2023 NRL grand final

In what I suspect is a first, the coaches of our grand final teams each have a son playing in their side. The performances of both sons are likely to have a huge impact on the result.

Our top four teams for the season fight it out for a place in the NRL grand final

Finals week two

Six clubs remain in contention, and the two most likely clubs get to put their feet up for a week while the others hurt each other.

Finals week one

It's Masters vs Apprentices in week one of the finals, with all but one of the games involving a coach taking on a team coached by an assistant who used to work alongside them.

Round twenty seven selections

It's the final round, and the first ever round 27, of the regular season. Note that our tipping comp includes the finals series.

Round twenty six selections

Another potential finals contender slipped out of contention last round and, barring a series of miracle results, the same outcome beckons for the Eels in round 26.

Round twenty five selections

There are three games this weekend involving teams between 5th and 11th on the ladder, in a round that could really shake up the top eight this year.

Four rounds remain, and some of the biggest clubs in the NRL need to find their feet quickly or their season is all but over.

With not much more than a month to go there are contests everywhere this season. The battle for the minor premiership, top four, and top eight positions are still very much alive.

For three, and perhaps as many as five teams, the prospects of a top eight finish could be over this round.
