Ha-Ha! I’ve seen that before bud 😁and don’t actually mind it. I think that’s due to the fact I absolutely love the original version (an all-time classic in my book). You do know their band name is supposedly the same as a Japanese toilet bowl manufacturing company don’t ya? If so, how funny’s that! I love that young dude’s goatee as well. Final thoughts
Geez Louise, with the amount of videos getting posted on here lately, I reckon the Thinker should create a special page just for music videos. To steal from Markus, he could call it “Thinkers Jukebox” or maybe the “Jukebox Corner” or something like that. I’m on another forum (nothing to do with footy and I’m heading there real soon) and that’s what they do. They have a thread called “What are you listening to now?”. The amount of different songs you get to see is eye opening and I get to experience different artists and genres (except the crap genre mentioned previously) and always look forward to popping in there for a look-see. Anyway, not my decision of course, just food for thought…

I took a look at my car this morning and it’s covered in ash from the bushfires so I thought I better give it a wash.
As I’m hosing away this car pulls up and starts taking photos of me so I walked over and said what’s your problem mate he informed me in a very high pitched voice (I think it was a he)
That there are level 2 water restrictions in place and I’m not suppose to wash my car and he (or she) will make sure I get fined....really
I said listen here mate (or ma’am) there are 3 reasons why I can wash my car and by the way don’t shake your head at me.
1. This suburb has access to recycled water which is exempt from restrictions
2. I’m doing the right thing by the environment as when I wash my car it’s certain to rain within 24 hours
And 3. If you ever ever! Take a photo of me again you ask me first......that was my bad side.
They drove off and I took a photo of whatever that was driving away.

I do believe we are on the same page regarding homosexuality. I have no great love for the lgbhxyzlmnop movement but do believe in the right for all Australians to live their lives as they wish without critics telling them they are wrong in their choice of lifestyle. I do take a little offence seeing two men kissing in public (just my age) You mentioned Alan Joyce the CEO of Qantas, an Irishman who has taken our national carrier from almost bankruptcy to back in black ( a little ACDC reference)

Even though a bit corny I enjoyed your Christmas jokes.
I always wondered why the lgbh etc came to be. Surely if they just adopted "the gay community" there would be no confusion. I too have a gay male friend (not a friend in that way) but he's a top bloke and doesn't do the girly, squeaky voice, limp wristed thingy. His partner is the same way and unless you knew you would never know. Believe it or not he voted against same sex marriage saying it was a load of rubbish.
They have been partners for at least 30 years and seem very happy.

Yeah mate, those jokes are a bit lame but you know what? I reckon those sorts of jokes are as funny as you-know-what 😁. I could read them all day long. As far as your gay mate goes, good to know both him and his significant other are outwardly laid back so to speak. Nice to see they're still together after 30 years too. A lot of hetero couples could take a leaf out of their book eh? Don’t have anything against the limp wristed variety per sé, just as long as they don’t make a spectacle of themselves in public. That goes for anyone really. Time and place for everything as they say. Showing respect for people when in public is a fast disappearing attribute for sure.
I could get into trouble for this but it’s all a matter of “class” I reckon. Either you have it or you don’t. Sorta like not swearing in the company of women and children. Sorta like not spitting on the footpath. Hopefully people will get the gist of what I’m rambling on about. God, you know how I love to ramble on eh?
Anyway, need to have a grizzle about the weather over here at the moment. Got home at 4:45 this afternoon, turned on my phone and it tells me it was sitting on 40C. You gotta be kidding me! Thankfully the BOM reckons just 38C tomorrow and then cooling down into next week. It’s about 7:45 now and it’s still 33C. Sheesh!

Yeah Steely - I'm out there/here, but not taking scalps in the cricket.
I'm being loaded like The Loaded Dog with stuff I try to answer and get to other I need to do. Then its Christmas wrap from work this Friday.
Red Devils finding some cohesion between themselves, but I tipped a draw in EPL Tipping between the two Manchesters.
I still got 6 from 10 in tipping.
Glasgow Rangers are also my team in Scotland. In the local A-League I must say that Western United are sure putting some early form together. They have certainly started the season well, better than some did in their first stint.
Me Sky Blue Smurfs are doing it extra well. LeFondre is an excellent finisher.
I'll push on for now and will catch up sooner than later.

Your comment on "class" is spot on. Where have we come to when swearing in front of women & children is deemed ok. Swearing used to be kept to the "men only" bars or on fishing trips to Fraser Island that I do. Women in their quest for equality now swear worst than men. I guess they have achieved what they want EQUALITY but at what cost.
Tattoos used to be the realm of retired sailors or Islanders, now every second woman you see is decorated by who knows what. This is not a cheap form of decorating the body and that butterfly on top of your breast will end up near your bikini line as you age. I always loved the girls that took time to make their hair nice and apply just the right amount of makeup to get the boys interested. Back in the day it was perfect. AH I'm showing my age again.

Newbie’s Wed (actually Thurs) Night OSSOTW
Seeing no posts since last weekend had me worried but thankfully the Boss got it sorted. Noice 😁. Anyway, a bit later tonight than originally planned. My whole routine got thrown as I’m officially on holidays as of now. Decided to take off Friday (tomorrow) as well and my tiny brain keeps shifting from “is it Thurs or is it Friday” mode. I was working at a hotel as Duty Manager waiting for the last guest to check in around 11pm when in walks this scruffy looking lady and some muscley dude guitar in one hand suitcase in the other
I said to my much younger staff member that’s that singer Deborah Conway and she said I like her songs especially Heart of glass I said no that’s Deborah Harry (only if it was)
She said she had a booking under Betty Jones as she feared if she used her real name she might get mobbed
Considering I checked in Olivia Newton John the day before and she was left alone Deborah had nothing to worry about

Forget the email I sent you Boss, I’ve got this thing sussed. What I normally do is click on “397 comments” and then click on last page and then I’m good. This wasn’t working so what I did instead was click on “Read more” and then go to last page and everything’s good. Problem solved, just gotta remember is all.
