Happy Wednesday good people. As I begin this journey down musical memory lane I realise there is no one song I can remember hearing first. I do know what the first music I listened to was and there are four main bands/groups that first turned me onto music officially, well, started me down the path at least.
Much of my earlier musical taste I owe to my mother as it was what she listened to. I still think she had pretty good taste ;)

This is my bikie story
When I turned 16 my older brother gave me his Yamaha 180 trail bike which gave me freedom and a love for motorbikes
even though my wife hasn’t let me ride one for 30 years.
I remember my sister bringing home this guy named Mick Mclean who wore the leather jacket and had an attitude I thought he was cool and my dad wanted to kill him which made him even cooler We hit it off and I remember him asking if I wanted to join his gang called the Ghost riders as they were recruiting.why not. So he took me to Bexley pub on Friday night and they had their own room out the back. Wow what an eye opener free flowing beer girls gambling everyone seem to have beards it was like a hairy playboy mansion.
Around midnight a guy comes in and let’s everyone know there’s an unmarked police car out the front so the music stopped and a plan was put into place. Me being the newbie (that’s 2 weeks in a row you’ve got a mention)
I had to go out first.
So I staggered across the car park and try my key in about 5 bikes till I found mine by then the police car window was down and started my bike I move it onto the grass area and sat there for 10 minutes falling off and getting back on while this was happening the other bikes we’re leaving but the police wanted me I then rode out of the driveway bang ,lights ,sirens ,pull over
he shouts ,takes my keys and pushes me against his car ,been drinking aye
Blow in the tube comes up zero next move this around your mouth drug test zero. Looks at his partner this can’t be right so they take me back to the station still zero so they had to let me go.... I passed my initiation I was the designated decoy.

I can remember the first song I heard that had my little brain alive and kicking. It was “My Guy” by Mary Wells. Came out in 1964 and it made me “groove” even though I wasn’t fully aware of it at the time. Still makes me happy when I listen to it 😍 As far as your 2 picks go… No.1 was like “oh the horror of it all!” OMG! No offence intended my brother but I couldn’t even click on it 😁. The second one mind you … absolute freakin’ classic. Great pick and so happy that it helped you on your journey. Loved (and still do) those guys. In his younger days, my father actually flew to Melbourne to go to their concert. Well, that’s what he told me anyways 😉. GH was and always will be my favourite. God rest his soul 😥.

To put it into perspective for you when i get a migraine it is always the same each time the back of my left eye is like someone is going tin tin tin with the nerve at the back of my left eye like they are strumming a cord & that can go on for 3days at a time so at times like that all you want is to be in a dark room with no noise when it gets really bad or i end up vomiting i also get from time to time with my ms you feel likecyou have a weight on top of your head reaaly heavey headed like Migraine is coming i have asked about that i hsve knly been getting that feeling zince i have been diagnosed with ms & it isn't a migrsine at the gime when i getvthat it is high humidity that does that to me with the ms it is paft of hVing ms & the only way i csn stop it from becoming a full bloen mjgraine is too have one of my tablets that taskes 2
hours too work you only get 4 per scprit but max reapests & When my mivraines are thst bad i can have 3of those tablets before it will go so i just have tk kerp going ghe way i asm newbie i have no choice i have to do it for me ...

Good morning Newbie. I am sorry to say I am not much of a Bowie fan. I like his more mainstream stuff but for the most part just found him weird, which I think was the point but it always had me more curious than actually a fan.

Still have this vinyl album to this day and is one of my most treasured possessions 😍. I have all his albums starting from David Bowie (1967) as well as David Bowie (1969), The Man Who Sold the World, Hunky Dory, Aladdin Sane, Pin Ups, Diamond Dogs (my favourite), Young Americans, Station to Station and Low. Also have Changes One (compilation album) and his very last album Blackstar. You may have guessed I was into him in a big way 😁. Sorry to hear how those migraines are causing you so much grief. I should’ve known actually as a friend of mine suffers these as well but I’d forgotten how debilitating they can be. Crazy that high humidity makes it worse too. If I’m assuming correctly, you’re a Sydney girl yeah? If so, isn’t Sydney a humid place? I think I’ve heard that mentioned somewhere by someone and if true, have you ever thought of moving? I know that’s easier said than done for some people so please forgive me if that’s not an option.
Anyway, not sure I can offer any advice other than do your best and try and handle it the best way you can. Here’s hoping some sort of treatment is found to ease the suffering. I’d offer up a little prayer for you if I believed in you-know-who but seeing as I don’t I’ll just ask the Universe to look after you 💖. Stay strong…
As far as your posts disappearing goes, I’d have to say the Boss isn’t deleting them. Pretty sure he’s not the sort of bloke who’d do that. I’m thinking it might have something to do with your phone not communicating properly with the site (recoding). Could also be a bug somewhere that’s being naughty and playing havoc with this and that. Then again it could be any number of things. Yes i am a sydney girl that goes for QLD sorry just thought i would get that in while i can & move to somewhere colder sorry tasmania is a bit too far for me & i don't know anyone there i have basically done all but a factory reset with this mobile & yes i know the thinker wouldn't do that to me i was just frustrated by it happening & to answer your ? Yes humidity is the worst for ms it goes humidy ghe least friendly then heat once it gets in the 30 to 35 get in air conditioning or it affects your walking but you also get affected by the cold i can't regulate my.body tempreture i can wear a jumper in 26 degress but when i first got diagnosed i had to have a cold shower in winter now i csn handle some heat but not much in winter i can't get warm at all So you can't win then you get sick from the weather thats why i now get a medical rebate for heating & cooling which helps me pay some bills at least newbie plus you have to remember i also have other medical problems the list goes on ...

Newbie see if your friend that has ms also gets a medical rebate but you have to have a pension as well in my case in get dsp disability support pension if they get that they can apply for a medical heating & cooling rebate some neurologists will tell you you don't qualify for the pension but if your neurologist says too
Them you can't improve yes you do & you don't get reviewed i have never been reviewed since 2015 because i am on a decline how fast the decline who knows but my treatment is keeping me stable you get liesons with ms on your brain & your spine in my case so my trearment targets those liesons & kills them when they come but i don'tbtbink it csn with the liesons you already have thats why i have two i have lost my sight twicw from ms it is a lieson when that hapoens i know a lady at the shops i go too she has 9 liesons once she gets 10she gets put in a nursing homw she won't have a choice in it she is really bad she does have thw same type as me but she has had it linger & been left toblong without getting the right treatment she is too far gone to have the treatment i have she is affected all down onw side of her body she has lost her sight completely shs gets tremours with her hands bwr vioce is affected she is in a wheel chair & the hospital has just told her not to comw in anymore there is ni more they can do for her & i go to the same hospital as her tge difference ia i can have this treatment she can't she is too far gone i still walk & drive i cook & shop so i just have to stay positive which is hard see when you Do lose your sight it is only for a few minutes when you get a lieson but she won't get her sight back she is too far gone tgey have told her husband shw might only have a year left to live & he wull ve devastated he has been fge knly one looking after hwr since she was diagnoised about 29 years ago he has been her only help in that time se sine people fhink it is their duty to be there others like my father wanf to distence themselvesbut they wantbthe benefit ffom yiy receivjng ndis such as my father has moved jn wifh his lady friend but he gets his house partkt cleaned sacg fornightfrom my fhndubg & his lawn mowed so he doesn't have too do it at

Newbie badically to sumbup what i was trying to tell you about my ms is humidity basically cripples me itvputs your whole central nevous system into spasm & with ms it ian't just go & sit in air conditioning to cool down nope you have to lower your core temp by drinking really cold drinks & eating really cold things at the ssme time remembering to avoid listeria for 2weeks before treatment & 2 months after treatment you hsve to be csreful how thingd hsve bern prepared so your struggling to lower your core temp you think i will eat ice cream no you can't do thst listeria ifnit bought at shop like woolies ot coles yes bug you can't go to
Maccers & buy one just to est it too coo down you don't know when te equipment was cleaned that they use to make it so it is not allowed nust as i cabn't eat ham but i can eat bacon if i cook it myself & it is hot it is the way it is processed i can only eat brie or camrmbert if it is austrslian because we parsterize our Milk differently to other countries

Newbie there is alot more to this ms thsn people actually realize such as they put me on a listeria diet so avoid listeria very complecated there are alot of things you cannot eat butbit isn't just what can't i eat it is how has it been prepared how clean is the equipment that has been usedso when your in a food court you have too consider all of that too so you don't get listeria so itbis what am i allowed to eat as in certain food such as no processed meat everything has to be washed & cut up by me so fruit & salad everything like that but then you have to look at anything you huy in a foodvcourt how has it been prepared as wrll as isvirvgoingbtobgivebme listeria whenni first had to do this was very daunting i can onlt have certain cheeses becausevofbtge way it is made & it hasvtobve australian becausrvofvtge way we pasterise our milk so you have to consider everything i can't just go & buy something from wooliesbor coles out of the deli tobeatbit no that is out onlynifvit is bbq chook & it has just been cooked so it is just out of the oven hotit can't sit there forva fee hours first see unless you have ms you wouldn't know any of this stuff newbie it isn't fun at forst but it does get easuer after a while of doing it ...

Sorry but my mate only suffers from migraines, not the dreaded MS. Anyway, you’re not having much luck with this are you? Too humid and you suffer. Too hot and you suffer. Too cold and you suffer. On top of that you get this sight loss (even though just for a few minutes). I wear glasses and appreciate how important sight is. I just can’t imagine what I’d do if I couldn’t see 😨. Yeah I know people manage to function quite well without it but still, it’s a frightening prospect nevertheless.
I could be out of line here but what I’ve read from you over the years concerning your father just makes me dislike him as a person. And I’ve never even met the man 🤔. Don’t really care what people may say but no father should treat his children in such a way. I was always taught it was the parents’ “job” to raise their children with a sense of right and wrong and to keep them safe, healthy and loved. Where’s the world gone eh? 😥
Anyways, appreciate your comments above, it has certainly enlightened me on the struggles people have with MS. You are a legend with how you’re coping with it. As mentioned before, all I can say is “stay strong” and do the best you can 💖.
OK I have to head off now and search on YouTube on how to fix my leaking shower. Yeah I know, at my age I should already have this knowledge (I can hear Mr Ashford and a few others laughing this very minute) but hey, I’ve never had to worry about these things before as I just paid someone to do it for me but with the prices they charge these days I gotta find out how to do these things myself so I can save some money 😁. Newbie & " a " i have only lost my sight twice since 2015 & only for a few minutes i hear this morning about the sharks junior that has brain cancer fine kalua he has to retire he was getting migraines at least i know i don't have that problem i have mri's every 6 months & at least when i have lost my sight before it has not been when i have been driving which ibam still allowed to do the road & maritime sevice know about my ms the neurologists have a responsibility to tell them & i did as well to be told they already knew they are ok with me driving as long as my dr is providing i drive an automatic which i do & no neebie your not out of line saying what you said about my father i have even told him who call yourself a father you failed at that which gets him annoyed but he doesn't know how too show moral support it is the up bringing he has had he got thrown in to bording school the very day after his dad died at 6years old becsuse his mother didn't know what to do with him he has had to teach himself everything he knows including maths the bordinging school he was put in in new zealand did not even teach him that so he has had a tough up brining fight or flight so too speak no family toughtherness no birthdays or christmas from what i know he does try sometimes but it is just not there anyway we cope i am still here sorry too tell everyone my life story that doesn't already know but i am responding too newbie's earlier comment he posted & newbie i thought you did say your friend has ms that why i gave you all that imformation about the medical rebate sorry mate miss understood you there just trying too assist hey everyone how is my phone now something is going my way finally ...

I dom't know if my phone is properly fixed yet or not but clearing the search history & dropping it a few times seems too have helped i am no techniction but snyone can do what i did to see if it sould help them ,i can laugh about it now but it got me so frustrated maybe that is the dutch in me coming out who knows ...

Just go out side and turn off your water supply at the source.
Then turn on the tap that appears to be the lowest at your place and leave it turned on. Go into your shower and remove both hot & cold taps and pull out the spindles, they are the copper tap thing's that control the flow. You will see a red or black round washer thing sticking out of the spindle. On the spindle there is a nut which you must undo and when it separates you will find an o-ring on the spindle which should be replaced on both taps. Screw the spindle back into the tap and replace both the hot & cold washers with new ones. When you replace the taps into the wall mounts make sure the taps are in the open position. Then replace your top fittings and close the taps. Turn on the water and voila no more leaks. I hope!.

These fires are still burning when will it stop it has gone on far too long we just had some rain tonight in sydney but it isn't enough to fill the warragamba i dam i just read an
article to say we still have 70 fires burning in nsw it is crazy they have lost more homes today & the amount of people finding out they are under insured it is truely devastating how much more can some of these communities take ...

@ Christine - just a couple of things quickly…
1) What you said about your Dad explains a lot. I’ve now changed my mind as I can understand a little better why he is the way he is. This sort of thing happens with every generation so I suppose I shouldn’t judge now that I know the circumstances. It’s a bit of a shame though and here’s hoping things get better 🤞.
2) In regards to your comments not posting, I did notice something funny last night after I had posted. I logged out, went off somewhere and came back here (not logged in) maybe 5 mins later and couldn’t see my comments. Strange indeed. Maybe the site just needs time to “update” or something. Actually, when I was in just a while ago (not logged in) Mr Ashford’s comment about fixing the leaky shower wasn’t there but now it is. Hmm, maybe it’s a 30 minute update window or something. No worries though as everything is visible now. Just thought you’d like to know.

Yeah, went to YouTube last night and saw a video and it’s exactly how you described it above and yes, it’s easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy 😁. But thanks for looking after me mate. Gonna get this thing done but need to get a mixer tap spanner set (had to google the name of that one last night too). Bunnings have ‘em for 11 or 12 bucks so no drama. Cheers bud 👍
